About this Gateway

The Calestous Juma Science Leadership Fellowship is a flagship program of the Global Partnerships & Grand Challenges team at the foundation. In addition to focusing on their major research disciplines, the CJ fellows regularly engage each other and the foundation on matters related to Africa’s R&D ecosystem. Initial efforts include articulating actionable approaches that, if taken, would positively impact African research and researchers. More detailed work will subsequently follow, and this Gateway will be a key resource to capture the fellows’ work and for the wider community to discover and learn.
